Thanks for your reply, so far only thee and me, no other responses, give it a couple more days, if not I will go with Photo Povera, seems the most apt.

Dropped off three paintings to a new gallery yesterday, they said initially they would take only two, but I believe in the power of three, left the most colourful to last, they loved it, and intend to put it at the entrance of the show, makes two preview evenings for me this week, hey ho I'm off to the show. Found an interesting Artist site you might like to check out www.cultureinside.com based in Luxembourg, I think they would like your work.

Thanks for your comments to my blog, how does Altered Images sound for the name of a new group to explore the possibilities of the theme, unless you can think of a better more descriptive title.
The accidential is certainly playing its part in my work lately, just brought a book in an online booksale about an English artist called Albert Irvin, an abstract painter with a career that goes back to the 1950's, and how chance and accident have played a part in his work, producing marvelous large colourful work, and a chance encounter with a new gallery manager out on Dartmoor, who liked some of my work on this site, taking several pieces for a new show in May.
